Flower-Development-Ccontrolling MADS-box Genes in Rice and Arabidopsis thaliana

Abstract: Proteins encoded by MADS-box play an important role in regulating flower development.Since the monocot rice and the eudicot Arabidopsis are distantly related plant species,to compare the floral organ identity factors and their functions between the two species would help further understand the flower development of rice.
