Abstract: The phenotype of broad-spectrum rice blast resistance variety Yunyin was analyzed and identified by inoculated with rice blast fungi RB01-RB22 of known avirulence genes as pathogen in vitro. The results showed that Yunyin was resistant to all rice blast fungi except RB17 and RB20.Analyzing the widely used 24 resistance genes in production at present, the results showed that Yunyin may contain new blast resistance genes besides these genes, and there were able to be applied for rice breeding and production. In addition, in this study, we constructed near-isogenic lines with LTH as genetic background and contained blast-resistant gene to blast isolate SiChuan 43 by successive backcrossing combining marker-assisted selection with artificial inoculation. These works would be beneficial to the genetics study and application of this blast-resistance gene.
